SarahBeth Wasserman

“Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.”

If the Wasserman family had had a family motto on the wall, that might well have been it.

At first, SarahBeth found all the freedom exhilarating. She could go out and get drunk, or take drugs, or sleep with (as she put it), “ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages.” She could bring home a 15-year old drunkard and sex fiend, and announce that he was her boyfriend and would now live with the family.

But this quickly lost its allure, and then even more quickly became intolerable. So, at the age of 15, she ran away from home.

Here is but one of her adventures, after the left the house of yes.
