self-published? indie?
January 27th, 2012
Emerald Barnes over at Dreaming Awake has graciously allowed me to write a guest post on her blog. It's called "Anthony Lee Collins talks about Indie authors and Self-published authors."
So, check it out. I think I already know somebody who will disagree with me.

It’s great to hear more about your experience with A Sane Woman, Anthony!

Certainly it’s ended up in places that I’d never have imagined when I started the project.
Oh, and your statement takes on a whole different meaning if you lowercase the book title.

It was so great having you on the blog today! A lot of people were sharing it on facebook!
And thinking of making the title lower case really made me laugh in Laura’s statement. lol

Facebook was being very cranky with me today, but I finally was able to post it myself.

That’s an interesting distinction you draw – between “self-publishing” and “indie”.
There definitely does seem like a difference, in the way you describe it.
When I was a kid, some teachers had bound together a bunch of blank sheets of paper, folded over and hand-stitched them to make these little booklets… In class we used them to make little short-story books and poetry books. I have fond memories of those things.
