practical gifts

I only ever wrote one short story. It’s called Practical Gifts, and here it is.

I find short stories difficult to write, but I’m pretty pleased with this one. I wrote it several years ago, for a friend, though I don’t think she ever read it. If she had, she probably would have hated it.
