mr. self-promotion

Well, I did a lot on the utownwriting.com site last night, and then I forgot to mention it here.

There were a couple of smaller changes (including a new sidebar), but the main thing is that I’m starting to post The U-town Murder Case over here. I’m rewriting a bit as I go, mostly expanding things. In the context of the novel, this is the first time we see U-town, so I wanted to make sure there was a bit more background. Not to add a lot of heavy exposition, but to make sure the information is there for those who might want it.

Also, I don’t think we can start a Jan Sleet murder mystery without a description of what she’s wearing. This time she’s in black and yellow, and if that makes you think about a certain private detective who lives on West 35th Street in New York City, that’s no accident.
