One is that I’m starting to figure out how this book (the “new” novel, the one which doesn’t have a title yet) will end. It’s still pretty general right now, but I think it will be a good ending. So, if you were wondering, “does this guy know where the hell he’s going?” the answer (now) is yes. There are still a few more chapters to go before we get there (minimum of four, I’d say), and then there’s rewriting (and re-coding). But it’s a good ending (and it leaves open the option of more, of course, an option which I’m sure I’ll pick up at some point).
The other news is that there is a preview of the next chapter, the one after Undertown. In it, we start to see the implications of the discoveries Pete, Katherine and Perry made in the last chapter, and they start to announce their other news. Also, SarahBeth’s disagreement with Ray comes to a head, and we see two characters we haven’t seen in a while.
