First met:

At first KC gig, where she had come in apparently by accident.

Later came into the store to buy tea (dressed differently) and
struck up a conversation.

Notes:

I can't read her at all, and in fact I can't really read the Jinx at
all.  They're like a little closed-off society in our midst, and they
talk like all they care about is the Jinx, though occasionally they do
things for other people.  When they feel like it.  When Dr. Lee feels
like it.

And why and how does she have such authority over them?  I have no
idea.  But somehow they fit in here, even though most of us aren't
much on authority.
