This week’s featured character calls herself Nicky Porter.

She is fifteen years old, she seems to spend a lot of time in bars, and she’s apparently stalking a successful young novelist named Perry Nelson.

She introduces herself as Nicky Porter, but that may be an alias. Nicky is the name of the protagonist of two of Perry Nelson’s novels, and she seems to have picked it when she suddenly had to come up with a name to call herself.

In A Sane Woman, we see her sitting in a bar, watching some people who may lead her to Perry Nelson. It seems that she ran away from home some time before.

She appears very briefly in U-town, near the end, in another bar. It’s unclear if she’s still after Perry Nelson.
