Following up on my recent post about first person ( https://u-town.com/collins/?p=4885 ) I just saw this: “Second Person.”
I’ve always sort of wondered about second person — what it would be good for.
This is certainly one answer. 🙂

The only time I ever read anything in second person (apart from that article) was those Choose Your Own Adventure books. I’ve never actually tried to write in second person before; it feels so unnatural.
It seems like a bad idea to me, but it may just require somebody to come along and figure out how to do it right. I’ve never had any desire to write in present tense, but when Damon Runyon does it it all works perfectly.
